Front Gate Procedures (NEW for 2021!)
We have some important changes for you that will affect Pasatiempo Homeowners, visitors and service providers.
As you know, we’ve been discussing updating procedures for the Main entrance to Pasatiempo for over two years. We are finally ready. You and your visitors have probably noticed new personnel at the gatehouse who we’ve been actively training to ensure a smooth implementation of these procedures.
Please read these new procedures carefully and share with all drivers in your household.
EFFECTIVE FRIDAY, JANUARY 1, 2021:
The Main entrance green metal gates will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m.
During this time, the gatehouse will be staffed with active personnel requesting the destination of all visitors coming through the guest entrance, which they will record at the time of entrance. Additionally, our cameras will photograph vehicle license plates. Pedestrians and bicyclists will also be stopped.
The quick arm on the resident entrance will be down and activated up with a transmitter only. If a resident does not have a transmitter or a visible decal on their windshield, and chooses to enter through the guest entrance, they will be stopped and their destination recorded. If you don’t want to be stopped, please prepare for this by applying your decal to your vehicle windshield or locating your transmitter and attaching it to your key chain. Decals and transmitters are only available for residents and must be registered to a vehicle and a resident. Decals will be available at the gatehouse, transmitters may be purchased through our management company. We will be phasing in our new logo decal in the next few months.
Please do not tailgate as you enter the resident gate. If any gate equipment is broken, the driver of the vehicle will be stopped and charged a fee for repair. If the driver of the vehicle does not stop, this is considered a Hit and Run incident (VEH20002) and will be reported to the California Highway Patrol.
The exit gate will be closed 24 hours a day and open only by vehicle motion detection.
The Main entrance green metal gates will close at 7:00 p.m. and open at 7:00 a.m.
During this time, residents may use their transmitter or household code to open the resident gate. Residents may let their guests use their own household code to open the visitor gate. The household codes for the keypad only work during the above hours. The codes will be issued, monitored and activated as needed. Temporary codes can be provided for special needs such as after-hours delivery services. Please prepare for this by checking this week with Martha Andersen for your household code. For ease of use, please store this code in your phone contacts.
The exit gate will be closed 24 hours a day and open only by vehicle motion detection.
The Westwood Road, Sims Road and Deer Path Road entrance gates will continue to be closed at all times and accessed via transmitter only.
Please contact the Board of Trustees or the property manager if you have any questions or need assistance with any of our new procedures.
