Pool opens June 15th! (new restrictions apply)
The County of Santa Cruz has given us the clearance to open the pool, Monday June 15th, subject to compliance with the California Department of Health and the County of Santa Cruz Health Department mandates.
A reminder: Pool cards may be purchased for $125.00 per season. If you already have a card from last year, it can be reactivated upon completion of forms and payment of fees. For forms and more information about the Pool, go the Facilities page on this website.
Additionally, Pasatiempo Homeowners Association has additional restrictions that are specific to our pool environment.
These restrictions will be re-evaluated as circumstances dictate, and the rules are subject to change.
All persons using the pool facility do so at their own risk, including, without limitation, personal injury and COVID-19 transmission.
Your temperature will be taken upon entry with a hands-free thermometer. Those with an elevated temperature will not be permitted to access the pool area.
Pool attendees must practice social distancing in and out of the pool. There will be areas designated around the pool indicating each household’s space. The space is roughly 6’ X 8’. When you are out of the pool, you must remain in that space, wearing face coverings and cannot physically co-mingle with other households. We strongly advise that children wear face coverings.
When in the pool, please practice social distancing and keep a 6’ space between you and other households. Face coverings are not to be used while in the pool.
No guests are permitted.
In an effort to maximize the number of residents who can use the pool, households are limited to no more than 5 persons per visit. This must be current residents of the household only.
No large pool toys are permitted.
Pool toys which remain left behind when attendees leave will be discarded.
Pool hours will be from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Exclusive lap swimming is designated between the hours of 9:00 and 10:00 AM.
The BBQ area will be closed (pursuant to California Department of Health)
Pool furniture or umbrellas will not be provided (we don’t have the resources required to disinfect them throughout the day at this time). Please bring your own towel and/or beach chair.
The locker rooms and kitchen will be closed (we don’t have the resources required to disinfect them throughout the day at this time). There will be no access to the restrooms except for staff.
Because any violation of the applicable SIP orders may result in the revocation all residents’ ability to enjoy the pool, violators of these Rules for Access to the Pool Area will be banned from the pool facility for one month, the second violation will result in a ban for one year from the date of the infraction.
